Reflection on the week 4 seminar:

Lecture:

On Monday the 19th of February, attending the lecture session has helped me to fully undersatand the concepet of the topic that we looked at it with our teacher "Blila Haider", which was about Enhancing Business intelligence Using ISs. Accordingly to my understanding, as well as how the teacher had explained it. The perspective that I got from this lesson is that the use of ISs is to simplify and qualify the making of better decisions for business from external and internal sources in order by gathering and analyzing them.

Seminar:

On Friday the 23th of February, our Management & information systems class was based on Excel software, it was progressively interesting and educative in-terms of learning new skills on the software. in our class, we worked on, and look at new various formulas and techniques that helped us to expand our knowledge of the use of Excel. This latter was done with the help and support of our tutor who stood up beside us while we were proceeding and performing on, the fact that we were working as individuals on different computers we made different mistakes such as, putting through right formulas by using the singe of the $ dollar in the right place which was the most commune mistake that  nearly everyone had committed, during the exercise our tutor was monitoring us and had interacted a couple of times whenever someone had a question or did not know how to correct things out.

By doing the same practice on exercise 1 and 2, I personally found this strategy of practicing straightforward after the teacher and get help is a really good way of learning, especially, with things like formulas and problems solving.

Group work:

Concerning this week group work, we have moved forward and we all agreed about the business that we wanted to look at in terms of our coursework which is going to be one of the workplaces where Hamid my workmate works. On this seminar, as the teacher has put us together Hamid has introduced to us the business and little bit of how it works inside the organization.
