Reflection on the week 2 seminar:

On the 9th of February 2018, I had attended a seminar class where we looked at different topic of the subject which was not what we looked at the lecture either and that was about the analyze of a business case.

first of all, our tutor asked us to group up with our teammates to work together and she handed out a copy each of a worksheet regarding the topic business case, which it had four questions that we had had to search about and answer in order to represent the answers front of our classmates using a "Flipchart".

looking at the worksheet and at the questions, which were the followings ones.

1.What is a business case?

2.What is your role as an Analyst?

3.What typical steps are required to analyze a business case?

4.What does each of the steps mentioned in question 3 involve?

I first felt that I was quite familiar with the question, back to my undergraduate foundation year when I had to do an assessment regarding a business case, I tried to use my knowledge from that to help out my group to fully answer the question. certainly, my college had searched on the internet to come up with more ideas.therefore, that was not enough to fully be able to answer all the question because when it came to present our definitions front everyone we had struggled and especially when our tutor was saying that our answers were not clear enough, which made us make more effort to elaborate more and answer relevantly. however, when it came to other groups there were some issues which made me think positive because none of the group did perform very well. although, that does not mean I was particularly pleased with the results. 

secondly, after the worksheet questions, we also did an exercise on excel to test our selves how good were we doing with the formulas on the software. most of them were the basic question that requires basic formulas but still, I was not able to answer all of them, and that made me feel guilty about it.

however, today's seminar was beneficial for me because I enable my self to learn more about the business case and make more effort to answer all the question as well as on excel I had the chance to remember all the formulas and the use of them.
